The Men Who Stare at Goats.

Enjoyable film. Had me smiling throughout (and films that make you smile are quite the commodity, IMO), and concludes with Ewan McGregor saying the line "... Now, more than ever, the world needs the Jedi".

Sweet.

Oh, and Dollhouse has been cancelled.

Arse.

It's worrying for me, and probably downright depressing for orphiel , when a web-comic accurately  predicts your future self.

I was wondering to myself why the Star Wars prepainted minis all look like they have been painted by a Chinese 3 year old who is too weak from exhaustion, malnutrition and lead paint poisoning to lift a paintbrush, let alone paint a mini in any way that resembles anything other than pre-school finger painting ( Read more... )

So.... thinking about a 3rd generation console - some time around or after X-mas.

The negatives of each I can think of:

PS3 - More expensive. Less extensive game selection. Toasty warm.

XB360 - Sounds like an aircraft taking off all the time. HD-DVD losing badly to Blu-Ray. Less powerful than PS3. Butt ugly.
